Who would have thought..
The cheap German supermarket chain Lidl is a surprise place to buy electronic goodies here in the UK.
Every now and again we get one of their flyers through the door listing their latest special weekly offers, but having not recieved one for quite some time, I decided to pop into one today on my way to ASDA.
I was impressed with what they had on offer:
8-in-1 memory card reader/writer for less than a tenner,
cordless Keyboard & optical mouse for 20 quid,
5.1 home theater system for 40 quid
AND they are even selling good spec laptops - AMD Athlon XP-M, 512Mb, 40GB, CD/DVD burner, WiFi Card, built-in memory card reader, Dolby 5.1 output, plus a stack of software for £999!
Impressed!
