More information has been announced at the Microsoft Mobile Developers Conference by Motorola about the much anticipated MPx200, MPX100 and the stunning MPX which make up the MotoPro Platform.
Both the MPX100 & MPX are based on the newly announced Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition Software which supports the .NET Framework. They come with an intergrated 1.2 megapixel camera with video capture capable of upto 30FPS!
The dedicated Ringtone Manager will have a 64 Voice Midi Engine and will finally be capable of playing MP3’s as well as Wav’s!
Voice Recogination will enable Phone Book lookup as well as voice dialling. They also indicate that text-to-speech is coming!
Both devices will have Wireless LAN enablement - the MPx will have this built-in and the MPx100 will have an optional accessory that does not use up a SD card slot!
Both devices will have Bluetooth support for Headsets, Hands free kits, Stereo headphones with imaging & printing compatibility in the pipeline.
One other feature that has so far been lacking is the now supported Java!
It looks set to be a very exciting year for Motorola and the Smartphone market!










this looks ace… i got a sony p800, its a little big - but this is definately the way things are heading, no point in having a PDA aswell as a fone!
can you make phones with 100% perfect picture on it….
