Surround Sound MP3’s
It would appear that those boffins have been busy again!
They have devised a way to encode MP3’s with extra information to produce full 5.1 channel surround sound without any great increase in file size. What’s even better is that the new system will work with existing MP3 media players!
Expect to see the first products to use this new technology from July.
