Bye Bye Freeserve!
After changing the way that people access the internet here in the UK Freeserve will soon cease to be and will be renamed to its new parent company Wanadoo.
Launched by High Street electrical chain Dixons it became the UK’s biggest ISP offering free internet access, and spawning a host of other ISP’s copying Freeserve’s model including the BBC and Tescos.
The times are now changing for the free ISP market with the rapid increase in broadband and fixed price net access.
