A9 Searching by Amazon
The search engine wars have been upped another notch by Amazon and their new search engine called A9. Currently in BETA the search engine builds on Google’s existing search technology.
The search results page has three re-sizeable columns that return Web Results, Book Results and Search History. Each result from the web contains a ’site info’ pop-up bubble that gives Alexia web stats.
The Search History is stored on remote servers giving the user a full history of everything that they have ever searched for no matter where they are in the world. This feature uses your Amazon.com user account.
A9 also has the standard IE toolbar with integrated pop-up blocker.
