Apple comes to London
Apple are to open their first European store in London in time for Christmas 2004 - Currently Tokyo is the only country outside of the US to have an Apple shop.
The current owner of the premises is believed to be Her Majesty the Queen. The annunal rent on the prestigious Regent Street premises is reported to be £1.5 million a year!
With the rate that iPod’s are flying off the shelves, I’m sure that Apple won’t have a problem keeping up the payments!
