Wireless Network Part II

I have had my Broadband connection for nearly a fortnight now - Oh how did I ever survive without you? The BT Voyager 2000 works like a dream, and is pretty nice looking too.

Shame the same can’t be said for the Linksys USB Network Adpater! I have been having nothing but trouble with this. Everything appeared to be fine and then all of a sudden it drops the wireless connection to the router for no apparent reason. Unable to get the connection active again the only solution is to reboot the PC and it works fine again. Well for a while and then the connection drops again! I did some Googling for answers - it would appear that this is a well-documented problem with the Linksys WUSB11 and Windows XP. Driver updates do not appear to make any difference. Linksys seem to be clueless to the cause.

Looking back I can see that the intermittent connection dropouts I had between my iPAQ 4150 and the Linksys Adapter in adhoc network mode, before i had my Broadband connection, were more serious (I just assumed is was Activesync being unreliable) .

Looks like this will be going back. Any ideas of another good USB Adapter I could get instead?
