What a nightmare it has been trying to set-up my C500 to Activesync over Bluetooth. I have had my phone a week, and have only just now got the darn thing working!
I was able to pair the device quite easily - but do you think I could get it to sync? No, I tried all sorts, adding & deleting ports, re-pairing etc without much success. Following instructions found on the MoDaCo Smartphone Forums it would seem that I was not alone in my frustrations..
On numerous occasions I’d follow peoples advice, but then get so wound up by it not working, I’d just had to walk away..
Again tonight, I was just about to give up when I looked at the very helpful Geekzone. I found some instructions to set-up Bluetooth on the i-mate Smartphone2. This time instead of pairing from the PC, It was all done from the handset. On the last step clicking Sync - IT WORKED!! I don’t understand it, but it works - finally!
I need to get myself a Bluetooth headset, I just hope that isn’t going to be as troublesome.
