Free copy of XP
Microsoft are offering free copies of its XP operating system to people who believe that their version is counterfeit.
They are trialling the scheme in the UK and are using the information that they gather from the excercise to target illegal traders of its operating system.
Is this good or bad? I can’t yet decide..
