Orange Synchronisation Companion
I quite often access my Orange Email from a web browser when I am not at home. This is very handy as Orange send me Text Messages to my mobile to say that I have new email in my account.
This is all well and good for reading new emails, but is more of an issue for sending as I dont have my contacts defined online, as these are all stored in Outlook. This of course means that I either have to remember email addresses or lookup them up on my phone.
Orange being the clever people that they are have a very simple utility called the Orange Synchronisation Companion, which bears a very uncanny resemblance to Microsoft Activesync, that syncs Outlook to your Orange web email.
Much like Activesync syncs my C500 & Outlook, this utility syncs Outlook Contacts, Calendar & Tasks with your online Orange account. It sits quietly in your system tray and can be set to automatically update your online details as soon as they are changed in Outlook.
