I have no willpower!
Well, I knew that I couldn’t hold out much longer… I have been fighting the urge to splash out on yet more technology in the shape of the new Mac Mini.
Like I mentioned previously the basic system by itself is VERY appealing, but when one looks closer into the specs, it so needs the ‘optional’ extras… On one hand, its small form-factor and price and the fact that it’s a Mac say ‘buy me, buy me!’ but on the other hand when all the extras are added on - it’s a tad more expensive than I’d really want to pay, especially for a second computer..
I have been reading various reviews from AnandTech and MacCentral to name a few, and found that the more that I read about this computer, the more I want one..
SO I DID!
I placed my order on the Apple Store yesterday afternoon in a sheer moment of recklessness! 
I just thought b*gger it and went for the works! A 1.42Ghz Mac Mini with 80Mb HD, upped the memory to 512mb, added Bluetooth & Airport, and added the wireless Keyboard & Mouse. I wasn’t going to have the Superdrive as I have a DVD writer on my PC, but thought what the Hell.. so added one of those as well!
Now I only have to wait 2-3 weeks for it to arrive… Oh I hate waiting - I’m soooo impatient! It didn’t really help that I was around my Brothers last night for dinner, and he let me play with his 17″ Powerbook.. Oh the OS is sooooo kewl….
