Yeeeesss!!!
The news that I have finally be waiting for, straight from the horses mouth, the Nokia N73 and (the one that I’m interested in) the Nokia N93 are now shipping.

Yeah! - not long now till they hit the shops!
I’ve been using the N73 for the past 7 days now and here’s the problems I’ve encountered so far.
1) Camera loading time is slow. It takes around 5 secs for it to switch to cam mode after I slid the cam lid down.
2) No way to configure the Gallery button for other usage. i.e Radio or MP3 like the SE K750i. The gallery button only goes to the image gallery.
3) No able to use the flash as a touchlight like the K750i. It can be handy when you are looking for things underneath a sofa/table.
4) Slow loading of menus. It takes 3 secs just to get to the main menu when you are accessing it when it’s on standyby.
5) Contacts is unable to sort by First name, last names. Eventhough there is a setting for this, it doesn’t work.
6) It hangs. So far it has hang on me 3 times during an incoming call. It froze and just restarted. BAD!
7) Doesn’t have the last sms list of names like the K750i.
Makes sms a whole lot of slower to search thru all the names.
9) Pictures is not that sharp and contrast is always on the bright side.
10) Confusing menus and sub menus.. need some time to get used to it
11) The keys feel like cheap plastic.. the sliver paint don’t look like they will last long.. and the keys are too small for my hands to sms fast
The few good things about this phone
1) The screen is bright and clear
2) Nice slideshow mode to show your images with song
3) Flickr works
4) Quickoffice/PDF reader/Flash player/Real Player built in
5) Web browsing is easy with the different views
I feel that the SE K800i might be a better buy…
Thank for the headsup Melvin. Sounds like there are a lot of similar issues that I found in the Nokia N80 when I had it. I can only hope that things are better in the N93, or it looks like I will be getting a K800i as well.
I also faced the same problem with N73 of which I just bought 4 days, it hang when receiving incoming calls. Yet to discover other features of this latest phone.
Went to the dealer shop and got the replied that they cant do anything except send to Nokia service centre to check it up!
So mad! spend so much money and getting so much trouble for the damn phone!!!
I think that Nokia need to carry out more intensive testing before they release these N-Series handsets. The N93 also suffers from firmware issues on handset release.
I am alsohaving exactly the same problems as faced by melvin and others. I bought the phone just 5 days back and I find it hangs every now and than. It i sirritating when you receive a call and suddenly you find your phone restarts or hangs.
Any one found a solution?
i have bought nokia n73 new and i am facing the same proble as melvin,neil .
it freeseall to do take the battery out then it well work,it hang when receiving incoming calls.
it is shame nice phone but i think has got software problem

The thing that it does most is hanging.
Hell. I experience the same. So annoying when it hangs then restart during incoming call.
i have a problem in slide-show it is zoomig so large till it become black screen i have N73 okia
help me please
