Google Mobile Maps for N95

Google have updated their range of supported handsets for their very popular Google Mobile Maps (GMM) to include the N95. Not a great deal of difference to other Nseries versions, although you will notice that the app finally has a proper-sized icon as apposed to those small Java icons for inferior lower-res screens ;-)

One thing to note is that they haven’t addressed the location of the softkeys when the view is changed to landscape.

Maybe it’s silly, but I really like how Google has short URLs for sites that have mobile content. Unlike some other sites.

Kinda frustrating to have to type such URLs as http://www.url.com/here_is_my_app/no_here_it_is.html
Especially frustrating when you mistype something. *grr*

    Thanks to Google
