I got my home broadband connection upgraded last week to BT Total Broadband. With the upgrade in package I get unlimited downloads and an up to 8mb download speed (unfortunately where I live I’m lucky to get 3mb!). I also have a brand new wireless router – the BT Home Hub – which means that I have finally upgraded my home wireless network from a 802.11b network to a 802.11g network!

Unlike most home networking equipment, the BT Home Hub is a rather sexy piece of equipment. BT have taken a leaf out of Apple’s book and created something that actually looks damn good on display.
In addition to the new router BT Total Broadband (Option 3) comes with a BT VoIP Handset that enables you to make free evening & weekend calls over the internet.
This really is the hub of my home connecting 2 Macs, a Wii, my N95, and my wireless Network Camera.
