It would seem that Google have decided to make a dramatic move away from the internet and search to open a fashion shop as you can see from the photo below:
OK, so the shop may be real, but I have a sneaky suspicion that this particular outlet selling knock-off branded clothes doesn’t really belong to Google.
I took the picture while I was holidaying in Turkey during a day-trip to Marmaris. Whilst out and about walking in one the the many markets I happened across this particular shop, and just had to take a pic.
I wonder what the Google Lawyers will make of this?

I saw this shop too during my 2 week holiday in Marmaris, Turkey last month, when visiting the Turkish Bazaars (east of Marmaris close to where the ‘Ataturk Statue’ is). No doubt that it has no affiliation with Google Inc. whatsoever.
There are actually a number of imitation stores which I spotted in Marmaris, including a ‘New Look’ store selling clothing, and an ‘ASDA’ clothing store even bearing the ‘ASDA Price’ logo (both stores located on the busy road ‘Kemal Seyfettin Elgin Boulveard’ that runs through Marmaris).

Alvin, that’s the very store… I too saw the use of popular English brand names re-used in the hope to attract gullible travellers into their shops.. ASDA being one of them..

Isn’t this kind of illegal?
