3 Skype Phone - Example Photos
I took a walk up on the hills today with Harvey armed with the funky new 3 Skype Phone to check out the photo quality of this little handset. The camera is 2.0 mega-pixel which is a little less than what I am used to with my Nokia N95. although there is no auto-focus, the simple point and shoot is great for quickly taking snaps - something that I find a pain on the N95. Picture quality actually isn’t that bad.. Take a look at the photos below which are on Flickr. If you select All Sizes when on the Flickr Site, anything up to 500 pixels (medium) is pretty darn good - its only when you click original size that you can see the image is a little grainy. Again it is only a 2.0 mega-pixel camera.
For a simple point and shoot camera on a phone that only costs £49 without a contract, plus all the other features including Skype I really cannot complain.
