Here are some sample photos I’ve taken with the 3.2 Megapixel camera of the new Nokia N78 in my back garden today. Just for comparison I also took the same picture using a 5.0 Megapixel Nokia N82.
The Nokia N78 pictures are on the left and Nokia N82 on the right. As you can see for only a 3.2 megapixel camera they aren’t half bad. One thing that you will notice is that the colours don’t seem as bright as those of the N82. Processing times of the images were pretty quick on the N78 - a result of less information for the handset to handle.

Hey,
great comparison indeed.
I think the N82 is Nokia’s best camera device but the N78 is good too. Anyway, I hope we’ll see some improvements coming with the next FW.
