I have had the 3 skypephone s2 for 3 weeks. it is crap. the screen is to small. there is only 50mb memory in it. the ring tones are rubbish and the keys are to close together. it is very easy to press two keys at once. I prefer my old samsung d900. bigger screen more memory and easier to use...

I wonder if you could tell me if the S2 has a useful “to-do list” feature. I have a nokia 6280 and use that feature all the time (enter a one line note, add an alarm time to it to remind me), and it’s the one feature missing from the original skypephone that stopped me buying it. Or do you know of a java one I could download on to the phone? I’ve had a look but haven’t been able to find one.

How does Skype perform? Do you get any of the following problems:

- random log out even in areas with full signal
- incoming Skype calls rejected even though you're logged in with full signal (caller goes straight to voicemail or gets a message that you can't answer at this time)
- inability to make Skype calls even though calling the same person on a pc works fine
- totally unreliable presence information, contacts shown as logged in when they're not - or vice versa.
- very variable call quality - ranging from good to totally unintelligible - seems to be capacity problems at peak times.

All the above and more are commonplace on the original Skype phone or the "Skype for 3", client take a look at this complaints thread on the Skype forum:

I'd be very interested to hear whether three have corrected any of these problems with the shiny new Skypephone S2.
