Nokia N79 & N85 Launched
Today saw the announcement of two new handsets, the Nokia N79 and the Nokia N85 at the Nokia Virtual Launch.
The Nokia N79 comes with 3 Xpress-on smart covers (included in the box) that when changed will automatically change the colour of the theme on the phone.
The handset brings a lot of features already seen in other Nseries handsets, such as a 5 megapixel camera, A-GPS and WiFi and an automatic portrait/landscape sensor as well as some additions that we first heard about in the Nokia 78 including the NaviWheel and built-in FM Transmitter.
The battery is a BL-6F (1200 mAh) which should be up to most tasks to get you through the day.
The Nokia N85 is a little more interesting as it comes with a 2.6 inch OLED display.
The N85 also comes with a NaviWheel and built-in FM Transmitter as well as an 8GB Micro SD Card in the box. The battery is a BL-5K (1200mAh).
The N85 looks very interesting as OLED technology uses only 30-40% of the power of standard LCD, so you should get more life out of your battery than the other power-hungry Nseries handsets.
