Demand Five now for Macs

Mac users rejoice – Five have updated their online TV catch-up service Demand Five to stream in Flash, meaning that you can all now watch your favourite Five TV shows on your lovely Apple Macs!

Demand Five

Mac users have a tendancy to be forgotten about, or not supported for a whole host of services.  The BBC first launched their BBC iPlayer without Mac support, but have since embraced the platform, both supporting Macs and Apple iPhones.  Lets hope that Channel 4 do the same soon.

This is great news for gadget lovers as you can now watch those missed episodes of The Gadget Show online on your Macs.

Can you give me so advice on transferring files from my Sony Handycam model DCR-SR33E. A couple of years ago on your programme you showed a Sony Handycam attached to a Mac and showed how easy it was to do tranfer files through iMovie. I have had my Handycam just over a year and it cannot be tranferred direct onto a Mac. It can only be tranferred onto a PC through a programme that came with the Handycam, Nero Showtime. When these have been converted on the PC, the files are mpeg, but these will not go through iMovie. Could you advise me how you did it?
