Nokia N95/N95 8GB Video hits 1 millions YouTube Views
Back in November 2007 I was fortunate enough to be one of the first people to be sent a Nokia N95 8GB, the much anticipated update to the hugely successfully Nokia N95. Due to the huge interest in the handset at the time, I wanted to be one of the first to get some video footage of the handset on the Internet, so pretty much as soon as the N95 8GB landed, I knocked together a N95 & n95 8GB Comparison Video. Admittedly, it isn’t the best video in the world, and in hindsight I should really have thought out the content before shooting it! Oh, and factory reset my N95 before starting a like-for-like comparison. How I cringe when I see my original N95 take hours to boot! D’oh!
Now, during the recent May Bank Holiday weekend, I was amazed to see that said video had just clocked past 1 Million views on YouTube. wow! I’m amazed that it even got anywhere near as many views as that!
It’s gotten just shy of 1,000 comments, and is rated #12 – Most Viewed (All Time) – Science & Technology!
The interesting thing, is that there is obviously still a demand from people to find out about these handsets some 18 months on. The N95 8GB is a great handset, which I would highly recommend over any of Nokia’s more recent iterations.

Congratulations Neil. Amazing stuff… to think that more people have watched your video than visited Ovi.com in the last year! (I kid. I’m sure Ovi is massively popular). But it does go to show that it’s Nokia *hardware* that people really love, not their services so much.
