Looks like the way-out-of-touch UK law that currently means that devices like the iTrip are illegal is set to change at the end of this year. The law dating back to 1949(!) is finally being brought up-to-date by UK communications regulator Ofcom and should be in place by December. Currently the law prevents devices broadcasting FM transmissions without a radio license, and means that anybody found guilty could face a two year jail term!
