1 Billion Apps in 9 months – WOW!

Amazing when you think that it took nearly 3 years before 1 Billion music tracks were downloaded from iTunes in 2006!

Love it or hate it, the iPhone really has shaken up the mobile industry!

Neil – it’s just crazy when you think of it one billion downloads and I guess still counting. No wonder the rest of the phone manufacturers are starting to launch their own application stores I’m sure it may have something to do with the potential of making more profits.

forgot to say – it’s also been a great opportunity for software houses and developers to show what they can do and make a little money also.
