One great feature of the new Nokia N78 (and S60 3rd Edition SP2) is the inclusion of native Access Point Prioritisation. This has to be one of the most desired features of any Nseries handset, especially when its already been available on Eseries handsets for some time.
Previously on S60 3rd Edition handsets, within Settings, you would find an Access Points option under the Connection setting. This has now been replaced with a new option called Destinations:

Here you find find a revamped Access Point manager. Instead of giving you a long list of the access points that you have defined (WAP, Mobile Internet, GPRS, MMS, and all your WiFi Hotspots) the different types of connection are now grouped into Network Destinations:

Here you will find all your Internet Access Points, be that your Mobile Network or WiFi Hotspots, grouped together, as well as MMS, and WAP under appropriate categories.

The really cool thing with the new Destination Manager is that you can set priorities on the access points that you define. So for example when you are at home, you can automatically use your faster home WiFi, at work use their WiFi and when anywhere else you can automatically fall back to the slower Mobile Network.
For me, when I am at home, my BT Home Hub will be used first for any internet traffic (Priority:1), If I am out and about and I am near any BT OpenZone WiFi Hotspots (Priority: 2), I can automatically use those, otherwise my phone will revert to my Mobile Data Plan on 3 (Priority: 3). Easy!
I have to say that this has to be one of my favourite new features of S60 3rd Edition SP2. It means that we no longer need to rely on 3rd party apps such as Psiloc Connect.

Tra le novità, quella che forse l’ha più entusiasmato, è la presenza di un gestore degli access-point, uno strumento indispensabile ma fino adesso non presente sugli S60 3rd ed. [...]
