After the backlash over the first release of Nseries PC Suite 2.0 BETA back in Sept, Nokia quickly pulled the BETA to refine their application somewhat. Some 2 months later and we have now a re-release of this application.
You can download the lightweight web installer here, but the full package still requires 540MB of free space! An interesting new feature in the application is Nokia Photos.
On 17 September 2007, we temporarily removed Nseries PC Suite 2.0 from Beta Labs, due to technical immaturity. Now we have made significant improvements for the re-launch:
- Improved and more user-friendly installation: web installer – no need to download every time the whole package, only selected applications.
- Nokia Photos with its excellent features integrated to the Nseries PC Suite package.
- Single-click sync for more user-friendly synchronization.
- Significantly improved stability.
I’m just downloading and installing now…. I’ll post back first impressions soon.
