So my touchscreen netbook mod didn’t quite go as planned, I’ve got a couple netbooks, (four actually) and I was originally going to use it with my OCZ Neutrino, but after spending about 6 hours total playing around with it I gave up. I figured out what the problem is though and why it won’t work, it’s because this netbook has a power button for the camera, thus giving us five wires instead of the normal four of the standard USB conenction. It wasn’t a total loss of time though, I did learn quite a bit about the internal workings of the netbook. So today I’ll be using the touchscreen for my Acer Aspire One D250, that should work with no problems, and be uneventful, hopefully. Coming up though I’ve decided to do a short two-part series or reviews of products to get video from DVD to your iPod and to get regular video to your iPod, and of course I’ll have a bit about the Acer Aspire Touchscreen mod as well once I get that all straightened out.. anyway, here’s the news:
