Today for review I’ve got another product from our friends over at Proporta, and it’s one that I like quite a bit an one that I think you’ll like as well. It doesn’t have any fancy name it’s just called the Protective Laptop Bag, but it’s much more than that really. It’s a messenger bag yes, but it can turn into a backpack, there are straps hidden in the back that you can pull out to have yourself a backpack. This bag is very well made with padding between each of the compartments and enough pockets to carry everything you need and then some. The bag material is a thick cordura making it strong and protective, and the best part is that it costs under $40. This is a bag that is well worth the cost, it’s easily comparable to bags that cost two to three times as much…

Unboxing:
There’s no special packaging, just a plastic bag is all.
The bag I got for review is, as you can see, sort of green colored. One side has a metal badge with the Proporta logo on it, while the other has a zipper compartment that I’ll show you more about later.
This bag has two handles on it actually, the main one is the kinds with buttons that holds the two sides together. Since this is also a backpack, there’s a smaller handle on what would be considered the top.
On the bottom or the side are rubber feet and a rubberized hole that allows your headphones to come through.
There are two main compartments in this bag. The first one has a mesh pocket that is the side of the bag basically, opposite that is several smaller pockets, places for pens/pencils, two carabineers, a hole for cords, and an expandable mutli-purpose pocket as well. The pocket also has button straps to hold it part way closed if you wish.
The second compartment has two more large pockets with three smaller velcro pockets as well, so this bag has a lot of places to put your stuff. The front, back and between each compartment is padded as well.
Inside the bag I found the shoulder strap, it’s padded for comfort and all of the clips are heavy duty metal.
I mentioned earlier about the zipper on the back of the bag, inside there you’ll find two strap to turn the bag into a backpack. The same as the shoulder strap, the clips here are heavy metal and the straps are padded and adjustable of course.

Installation, Testing:
To use this wonderful bag from Proporta I put my stuff in it..
In the front section I put my accessories like power supply for my Acer Aspire One D250, GPS receiver, mouse, and some other stuff. Everything fit just fine with room left over for more…
You can put you laptop or netbook inside of either of the other two pockets and have a lot more room left over for all of your other stuff.
I have several messenger style bags from companies like Spire, booq, and Tom Bihn. Spire and Tom Bihn bags can easily cost you well over $100 and more at times, but I can honestly say that the Proporta Protective Laptop Bag is comparable to those in both quality and capacity.
I’m truly surprised by the quality and the capacity of this bag, honestly I wasn’t expecting much for a bag that costs only $40, but I was pleasantly surprised by this bag. It’s well worth the cost and then some.
The build quality, materials and sticking are all quality and heavy duty, this is one nice bag truly.

Conclusion:
The Proporta Protective Laptop bag is one that I can easily recommend you grabbing for your own use, but you better grab one quick because these are nice and I’m sure they’re going to sell a lot of them, especially at this price.
This is on of the nicest bags I’ve had the chance to review truly, it’s well worth the cost and I’m sure you’ll be very happy with it.
