The very popular Nokia N82 has recently received a firmware update (v20.0.062) that now brings, amongst other things, Flash Video to the device. This comes not long after the Nokia N95 received its firmware update last month allowing viewing of YouTube on your handset.

It's been a while coming - a new firmware update (v21.0.016) for the original N95 has finally landed. Surprisingly the update was even available for my Carphone Warehouse branded N95, which on previous releases has taken a week or so after the initial announcement to surface.

The original Nokia N95 has just gotten itself a nice little firmware update that adds some great functionality to this first generation N95 handset.
One of the major improvements in this (v20.0.015) release is that it now features Demand Paging a technology that allows the handset to better manage its memory, allowing more applications to be run at once, and hopefully will eliminate those dreaded 'Out of Memory' errors that we all hate.

I had a quick look on the Nokia Software Update Availability checker site yesterday morning and saw that there is now a 11.0.026 firmware update for my CPW N95 - Yeah!
Of course as soon as I got home last night, I had to get that firmware updated! After a quick backup of content I was soon downloading the 113mb file and installing.

As mentioned on the Big Boy Symbian sites, Nokia have started to roll out firmware updates for the N95. These are available via the Nokia Software Updater or alternatively as Darla points out you can enter your phone details into the Nokia Software Update Availability checker.
The update appears to contain an improvement to the N95's camera, as demonstrated here at NSeries WOM World.

After much checking there has finally been a firmware update for the N73 on the 3 Network here in the UK.
Download the Nokia Software Updater and connect your N73 using PC Suite and follow the prompts.
The update includes a new x-series based theme, and also features all of the new x-series applications as I previously mentioned.
Hopefully the update will have resolved the annoying bluetooth drop-out that I have been getting when using TomTom Mobile.
