Apple is expanding its retail stores here in the UK with a new outlet opening in Bristol sometime in November this year. The new store will be part of the major new re-development in the City Centre called Cabot Circus.
Like the saying goes 'They come along like buses' as this will be the second Apple Store to open in the South West of England within a year, with the last Apple Store opening at Princesshay, Exeter last November. Read More

The new Apple Store in Exeter in the recently built Princesshay Shopping Quarter opened it's doors for the first time this morning. This now brings the number of UK Apple Stores to 13, unlucky for some - but lucky for us Brits in the South West of the UK!

Nokia have revealed that they have exclusively got the much anticipated new album by Kylie titled 'X' that will be available for download from the Nokia Music Store on Wednesday.
OK, it's cool that Nokia managed to bag the album for it's all-new music store 5 days before general release, but reading the small print, It's not really that much of a deal..The album sells for £8, but is encoded with DRM in Micosoft's WMA format. This is an issue for us ... Read More

I was in Manchester for the weekend, and coincidentally Apple's new UK store opened on Saturday in the Trafford Centre - I of course had to make a trip over. Not the biggest store in the world - but it certainly was very busy!

Apple are to open their first European store in London in time for Christmas 2004 - Currently Tokyo is the only country outside of the US to have an Apple shop.
The current owner of the premises is believed to be Her Majesty the Queen. The annunal rent on the prestigious Regent Street premises is reported to be £1.5 million a year!
