Announced at Mobile World Congress back in February were a couple of UIQ handsets from Sony Ericsson, the G700 and G900. The two new mobiles are part of Sony Ericssons new G-Series range of handsets, aimed squarely at Nokia's very successfully N-series range of mobiles perhaps?

As readers of this site will know Tuesday saw the start of the Symbian Smartphone Show in London. Being a huge fan of Symbian phones, I thought that I'd take a trip up to our nations Capital to check out what was new.

I think that we all remember the original browser wars back in the 90's with Microsoft and Netscape going head to head with their products Internet Explorer and Navigator and then again more recently when Mozilla took on Microsoft with the launch of Firefox.
