You may remember my post back in May last year about a great little application from Vimio that allows you to watch Live TV on your mobile. Unfortunately the greatness was short-lived as sometime in October the plug was pulled and the service stopped broadcasting channels to the mobile application.
Well I have some great news - I am pleased to say that the service is back up and running again. If you go to the download page you will see a whole ... Read More

From the people that brought you the very successful Freeview comes a satellite TV equivalent called freesat launching sometime in may.
freesat has no monthly subscription, just a one-off payment for the digital box, satellite dish and installation - so you pay once, and watch forever. And because freesat is broadcast via satellite, it'll be available to almost every household in the UK when it launches in the Spring.
Unlike Sky who charge £10 a month just for the privilege of watching HDTV, you ... Read More

I was merrily watching my favourite TV show, The Gadget Show on Five last night, when they started talking about SpinVox. I was amazed to see a product that I am so familiar with being featured on such a big technology show as this (congrats Team SpinVox!). I was however a little disappointed not to see Mr Whatley in the feature, especially since his recent interview on BBC Radio 4.
If you didn't see it, don't worry you can find it below - ... Read More

I love the whole idea of being able to do so much with a mobile handset, and as we all know the N95 pretty much covers it all; video, pictures, Internet, GPS to name a few!
One application that isn't covered by default on the N95 is mobile TV. I know that the handset doesn't support broadcast streams (DVB-H) like the Nokia N77, I am talking more about Internet streams as the N95 has great connectivity options (3G & WiFi).
When I had ... Read More
